Christina Manansala, Principal Engineer, graduated from the University of California, Davis in 1985 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. She has over 20 years of design experience in solar technologies and energy-efficient systems for sustainable building projects. Ms. Manansala has been the energy consultant and mechanical engineer for many award-winning projects garnering the AIA Committee on the Environment Top Ten Green Projects Award and the Environmental Design + Construction Excellence in Design Award, among others. From 1994-2001, Ms. Manansala was co-owner, Vice President and head of the design department of the Davis Energy Group. She currently manages operations at High Sun and specializes in optimizing building energy performance and integrating photovoltaics into the early phases of project planning.

Jack West, Principal and Photovoltaic Systems Engineer at High Sun Engineering, graduated from Humboldt State University in 1991 with a BS in Solar Engineering. He has been designing PV systems for almost 20 years and is credited with creating the first California-based engineering firm specializing in PV system design and consulting for new buildings. Mr. West is a recognized expert in the photovoltaics industry, and is often sought out by PV manufacturers for consultation on product/system development. He specializes in the design of large building and landscape integrated photovoltaic systems.
